Class 2 matting type SM556-02 is a high quality fine ribbed rubber insulating matting which is fully certified to meet American National Standard ASTM D178 Type 2, Section 5
Class 5.1.2.1-A O-Zone Resistant
Class 5.1.2.2-B Flame Resistant
Class 5.1.2.3-C Oil Resistant
The ASTM D178 Class 2 matting is fully certified and tested to 30kV with a recommended safety working voltage of 17.5kV.

Additionally the electrical insulating matting has a fine ribbed, anti-slip surface pattern on one side and a cloth impression finish on the reverse side ensuring safe electrical working conditions for users.

SM556-02 insulating matting is available in stock lengths of 10m x 0.91m or 1.2m and 22.86m x 0.91m or 1.2m with a thickness of 6.5mm and on request can be produced in cut length sizes and a variety of colours or with flame retardant, low emission grade materials.
